An owner portal is a private website for the person who owns the rental. It is where you read monthly statements, see rent collected, look at the lease and track repair requests. The goal is to answer the question "what is happening with my home?" without a phone call.

A useful portal shows more than a balance. Look for itemized income and expenses, copies of invoices, inspection reports with photos and a record of each owner draw. It should also work on a phone and show the same numbers the manager uses.
